Industrial Grade Systems
Our Pandora enclosure system is a convenient way to create a small, packaged embedded computer based on any of
our small form factor SBCs. Pandora offers a thick rear cover plate to aid in heat dissipation when used with our conduction cooling
SBCs such as Aries. It provides both wall- and DIN-rail mounting options. Either the standard cable kit or custom cables can be
used to bring out the I/O to the front panel, which can be customized to your needs. Choose from several standard size case lengths,
or we can cut the case to your exact length.
Our Octavio system, based on our popular Pandora enclosure, features low cost, easy assembly, and easy
I/O expansion. A novel Panel I/O Board provides the interface between the SBC and the user connections, vastly simplifying
assembly and eliminating most internal cables. The panel I/O board includes connections for internal add-on modules to avoid
the need for custom front plate designs. Additional I/O is available with the addition of PC/104 I/O modules or by adding
I/O circuitry, such as signal conditioning or isolation, directly to the panel I/O board.
Octavio is currently available for our
Athena III SBCs. It is also available for other SBCs upon request with a
minimum order quantity.
Out MIDI family offers a convenient ready solution for our Aries
(Bay Trail processor) and Eagle
(ARM processors). It can also be easily adapted to our other SBCs and Ethernet switches. MIDI systems offer expansion-ready
front panels with additional connector cutouts hidden behind cover plates. Custom front panels can be designed to support
specific I/O requirements, and ample room is available for add-on modules. The top plate serves as an effective heat sink
for the SBC, which is mounted directly to its inner surface.
The MIDI-Eagle system features an efficient panel I/O board which plugs directly onto the Eagle board
to provide most I/O features without the use of cables.
