PC/104 has been an embedded industry mainstay since 1991. Diamond Systems was one of the original suppliers of PC/104 modules and a founder of the PC/104 Consortium, so few companies can match our level of experience or expertise. Today Diamond Systems offers a wide range of rugged PC/104 single board computers and stackable I/O modules.

Most of Diamond's products are ruggedized to thrive in harsh environments. They feature extended temperature operation of -40ºC to +85ºC as well as high resistance to shock and vibration.

The stackable nature of PC/104 means that backplanes are eliminated, resulting in smaller size, lower cost, and in many cases increased ruggedness compared to alternative form factors.

Many of our SBCs are "2-in-1" products that include a full data acquisition circuit right on the processor board, helping to reduce size and weight in your system while also reducing logistics and assembly time. Our 2-in-1 SBCs can be customized to include your own special I/O circuit on the board in place of our data acquisition circuit. In addition to the benefits described above, this approach can significantly reduce time to market for your product, since the complex processor circuit is already complete and proven.
